ENTRY 10 GOD SPEAKS

God is in all things and through all things (D&C 88:41).

God speaks through children (Alma 32:23).

God speaks through women (Alma 32:23).
God speaks through men (D&C 1:38).
God speaks through the “uneducated”, “uncertified”, “unauthorized” (1 Corinthians 1:27).
God speaks through strangers (Hebrews 13:2).
God speaks through written words (3 Nephi 23:6).
God speaks to the mind (D&C 8:2-4).
God speaks to the heart (D&C 8:2-4).
God speaks through dreams (Job 33:15-16).
God speaks through the earth (Alma 30:44).
God speaks through the sun, moon and stars (Enoch 35:3).
God speaks through spirits (Moroni 10:14).
God speaks through angels (Moroni 7:29-31).
God speaks by the power of the Holy Ghost (D&C 68:3-4).

 His words are equally valuable no matter which medium He chooses to speak through (D&C 68:2-6).

All of the mediums except one will always have some form of corruption.  This will force you to rely upon Him and only Him to determine which portions are true and which portions are false.  This is to prevent us from idolizing the medium itself and being persuaded away from the true source of all intelligence which is the Christ.  But when those things speak the truth then it is of value to the Lord.  We are under the burden to hold to that truth as we receive it and not reject the truth based on the package it was sent to us in (1 Corinthians 14). 

God establishes His word by more than one witness that we may not be deceived by relying on only one source (Job 33:14).

You must learn to recognize which is Christ’s words in each of these mediums. (Moroni 7:16)

Most importantly! God speaks in person (D&C 93:1)!

The only pure source of truth is Christ (John 15:4-6).

God desires to speak through you (1 Corinthians 14:39).
